The Device Support Specialist (DSS) is a key position within the US Business Unit. The primary role of this position is to support patients being treated with Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) both in the prescription use and clinical trial program in the United States. The DSS serves as a technical expert on the device that delivers TTFields and is the primary interface for the patient and caregiver. The DSS is an exempt field-based position reporting to a DSS Regional Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Support, honor and advance our "Patient Forward" mission
• Manage day-to-day operations of an assigned territory – including expense reports, follow-up forms, equipment management, office supplies/ordering, and territory logistics
• Conduct patient visits and ensure the following:
• Check technical status of equipment and replace components as necessary
• Troubleshoot problems through well-defined procedures
• Provide patient education and reinforce training as applicable
• Perform data collection and analysis to offer feedback via verbal communications or formal documentation
• Serve as technical interface between Novocure and assigned medical centers
• Support prescription use and clinical trial patients on TTFields treatment
• Provide support to the patient via telephone or in person as necessary. This could extend beyond normal business hours, weekends, and holidays
• Work independently within an assigned regional territory while collaborating with cross-functional team members
• Travel to patient homes and to physician offices
• Applicant must have access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to travel up to 80%, amount of travel required is dependent on patient needs and location and will include overnight stays

Educational Prerequisites and Skill Requirements:
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's preferred
• Patient care experience preferred (medical technician, medical assistant, nurse, nurse assistant, physical or occupational therapist or assistant, assisted living care provider)
• Proficiency in basic computer operations including but not limited to Microsoft Office, manipulating computer files, following test and troubleshooting procedures (experience with Concur, SalesForce, and SAP (LISA program) a benefit)
