The Manager, Learning & Development is a sales training and development mentor in the US Business Team (USBT), specifically for Territory Managers (TM) and Thought Leader Liaisons (TLL). The individual in this role will facilitate and mentor the USBT sales team as part of an overall talent development strategy to support organizational performance and individual success. The individual will work directly with the Regional Business Lead's (RBL) team within their designated region to ensure the growth and development of TM's and TLL's through field visits and coaching.

This position shares coverage across the US.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, US Business Team, and is a field-based role. This position will require approximately 50%+ travel and the ability to work remotely or outside of regular business hours, if needed. Normal working days/business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Establish a culture and framework for learning and development
Ensure partnership with the Sales Leadership, RBL, and Field Training Mentors to identify team and individual learning needs and gain alignment on new training initiatives
Coach and consult with RBL managers to support development and improve skills for the Territory Managers and Thought Leader Liaisons
Champion consistency and quality of learning materials and delivery across functions
Employ varied methods of learning delivery to accommodate multiple learning styles & information needs
Conduct field visits, classroom facilitation, and participate in off-site meetings
Coordinate and facilitate USBT USOC Preceptorships
Assist in organizing and facilitating USBT Foundation Training
Partner with sales leadership and marketing to measure and understand the impact of learning programs
Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional colleagues to support collaborative efforts
Support a positive, customer-centric coaching culture, with strong cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrates accountability to progress in advancing toward assigned project completion, professional development, and ongoing skill set enhancement
Ensure that the customer remains at the center of focus

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in relevant area preferred
5+ years Oncology Sales Experience in pharmaceutical, DME or medical device
2+ years' experience in the oncology, hematology, or rare disease setting preferred
Demonstrated passion for helping people learn and grow
Background in field training or sales training preferred
Track record of success, as demonstrated by roles of increasing responsibility
 

Working Condition:
Ability to lift 20 pounds
